RUMORS vs. FACTS: Monroe Freeling commits to UGA | In-season recruiting

The UGASports recruiting staff was live to discuss the commitment of Monroe Freeling to Georgia, who some flip candidates are as we get closer to the early signing period, and how Georgia will kick off in-season recruiting. You will definitely know this was a live broadcast at the beginning as we had some connectivity issues early on, but as Jim Ross once said, "We're live, pal." Anything can happen, so we appreciate your patience early on in the first minute or two.

 Georgia still has work to do at the offensive skill positions in the Class of 2023. Another defensive linemen and a couple of outside linebackers are on the checklist with December approaching. Will Georgia be able to pry away a target or two that is currently committed elsewhere? RUMORS vs. FACTS: Evans decision | Top prospect performances

The UGASports recruiting staff went live on the UGASports YouTube channel to bring your weekly does of Georgia football recruiting news and analysis.

It's decision week for Texas native and four-star wide receiver Anthony Evans III in the Class of 2023. Evans was formerly committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Bryan McClendon and Todd Monken began pursuing Evans this spring. A visit to Georgia for spring practice ensued and Evans decommitted from Arkansas shortly afterwards and reopened his recruitment. Now Georgia finds itself in a two-way race with Oklahoma for the speedy receiver. The commitment will come on August 26.

UGASports provides the latest intel on recruitment. Also, a host of talented UGA targets and commits took to the gridiron Friday night. The crew reviews some of the bigger performers from the opening week of high school action.

The UGASports recruiting staff is LIVE on the premiere YouTube channel covering Georgia Bulldogs football to answer questions from the Vault and the YouTube chat. 

Georgia is looking to add some coveted pieces along the defensive front and some weapons on the outside to fill out the remainder of the Class of 2023. Jordan Hall, Xzavier Mcleod, James Smith, Tomarrion Parker, Samuel M'Pemba, and Damion Wilson are all targets that Georgia is after along the front seven.

Anthony Evans III, Tyler Williams, Jalen Hale, and Hykeem Williams are all receivers that Georgia has Bryan McClendon recruiting heavily.
